Monje de Autor Néstor pays tribute to Néstor Martín-Fernández de la Torre, one of the most iconic artists in the cultural history of the Canary Islands. His work, marked by symbolism, colour and island identity, serves as conceptual inspiration for this wine, which seeks to transfer that creative depth to sensory language.
Every detail – from the production to the presentation – is conceived as an extension of the artist’s aesthetic universe, turning the bottle into a piece that dialogues between wine and culture.
Reserva 2012: character, elegance and volcanic landscape
This Reserva 2012 is a mature and balanced expression of the Canary Islands. It has been aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, a process that adds complexity, structure and ageing capacity, without losing freshness or identity.
The blend combines three varieties that define the historical viticulture of the Canary Islands:
- Black Listan (50 %)
- Black Bastard (25 %)
- Vijariego Negro (25 %)
The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level, influenced by the Atlantic breeze and volcanic soils, factors that give the wine minerality, tension and a deep, elegant aromatic profile.

Monje de Autor Néstor – Reserva 2012 comes in two formats:
- Standard 75 cl bottle, production limited to 1,500 bottles.
- 1.5-litre Magnum format, with only 300 units, designed as a special collector’s edition.
