Canary Island wine is experienced from the inside: the most awaited wine tourism route of the summer returns

The proposal, already consolidated as one of the major events on the islands’ wine tourism calendar, will allow visitors to discover from the inside the work of the wineries belonging to the DOP Canary Islands – Canary Wine through experiences designed to connect visitors with the origin and essence of Canary Island wine.

A journey through the islands’ wine identity

This year’s edition will take place simultaneously in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, from 11:00 to 15:00. A total of ten wineries will be taking part, showing the public their vineyards, facilities and winemaking processes through guided tours, guided tastings and pairings with local products.

In Tenerife, Bodegas Viñátigo, Bodegas Tajinaste, Bodegas El Lomo, Bodegas El Sitio, Bodegas Ferrera, Bodegas Viña Zanata, Bodegas Linaje del Pago and Bodegas Monje will be present. They are joined by Bodega Finca Escudero, in Gran Canaria, and Bodega Conatvs, in Fuerteventura.

Beyond the wine, each day will incorporate complementary cultural activities that will enrich the experience, with proposals such as live music, creative workshops and informative activities linked to the territory and the Canarian wine tradition.

Much more than a tasting

“Descorcha Canarias” was created with the aim of bringing wine closer to the consumer from its place of origin, generating a direct link between those who make Canary Wine and those who wish to know the authenticity of these unique wines.

AVIBO stresses that this initiative allows the efforts of winegrowers and winemakers to be highlighted, as well as making visible an agricultural and cultural heritage that is unique in the world. The event also reinforces the role of wine tourism as an economic and cultural driving force for the Canary Islands, boosting the consumption of local products and revitalising rural areas.

The 2026 edition will pay special attention to the richness and diversity of Canary Wine, inviting attendees to discover new vintages and delve into the characteristics that define the personality of the archipelago’s wines.

Limited tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the TomaTicket platform and will have limited seats, a formula that seeks to guarantee a close and quality experience in each of the participating wineries.

With this new edition, “Descorcha Canarias” reaffirms its commitment to turn wine into a cultural experience open to the public, where tradition, landscape and gastronomy come together to show the essence of the Canary Islands glass by glass.
